  • Gentle hands holding a cup in a therapy session

    Individual Counseling

We will work one-on-one to support achieving your mental health goals facilitative of holistic wellness. Our time together starts with an intake session, where we will both have an opportunity to get to know each other and build your treatment plan to lay the foundation of our work together. We will explore various life arenas to set meaningful and targeted goals. These goals will be the root of our work together, and we’ll regularly review them. All sessions are offered virtually. Though there exists a physical distance in virtual counseling, we will follow the same intake process and building of your healing space.

  • Adult logging into virtual therapy session

    Virtual Counseling

Telehealth available to Oregon adolescents and adults. We will use a secure platform to meet one-on-one to support you meeting your mental health goals. Virtual sessions afford us a great layer of flexibility as we can meet as long as you are participating from within the State of Oregon! This is a great option for anyone with challenges associated with accessibility, transportation, or even some tricky scheduling needs—no need to worry about parking, and you can participate from your favorite living room couch!

  • Cups with spoons

    Chronic Illness Coaching

Personal and individualized support to reconnect with living a meaningful life. Available remote anywhere! Our work starts where your symptoms do. I’ll support you in becoming your own best medical advocate and building a better relationship with your symptoms. Our work differs from that of mental health counseling, but we will start our work with an intake and ‘getting to know you’ session, and then we’ll set meaningful and achievable goals to support your reconnection with living and loving life!

  • a hand on top of a piece of art created in expressive arts therapy

    Trauma Therapy with Expressive Arts

In our work together, we will honor and celebrate all the parts of you, including those best expressed through a creative means. Sometimes if a part of us was wounded in childhood, it’s easier to connect with that part of us through a nonverbal means. In session, I might pause and ask you “crayons, markers, or colored pencils?” and follow that up with an invitation to be creative. There are no hard-and-fast rules to creative expression and expressive arts invites participation from domains such as drama, music, and paint.

  • a woman inhaling and placing a hand on her chest participating in somatic experiencing

    Somatic Therapy with Somatic Experiencing

Our bodies hold stress, trauma, and memories differently than in our mind. Somatic Experiencing (SE) is a powerful body-oriented approach to release built-up stress and trauma within our bodies, connect to our most authentic selves, and build emotional and nervous system regulation. SE increases our capacity, our engagement with life, and connection to our selves. I am currently a practitioner-in-training through Somatic Experiencing International’s three-year Somatic Experiencing Practitioner program. Contact me to ask more about SE and somatic therapy!

  • a shift worker going home to go to therapy

Late Night and Early Morning Therapy

Late night therapy, overnight therapy, graveyard shift therapy—whatever you want to call it, I’m grateful to offer it! Perfect for individuals seeking therapy but needing to meet with a provider outside of normal business hours! I aim to offer a “graveyard” type of schedule, with offerings from 10pm through the night. Learn more about what days/hours I’m offering here, and contact me to get scheduled for a brief introductory consultation to see if we’re a fit to work together!

Chronic Illness Coaching

Do you want more but feel limited by yourself? We will work to navigate adjustment, barriers, and fear to create an integrated life while honoring your challenges and triumphs. Our work will honor your strengths, as well as explore your capabilities to support you feeling a meaningful connection to your world.

Trauma Healing and PTSD

I'm passionate about trauma-healing and employ a holistic approach. Our work together begins with a strong and meaningful therapeutic alliance, establishing a safe space for healing and recovery. In this space, you will be invited to connect with your authentic self to create lasting and purposeful healing and cycle-breaking.

Anxiety Therapy

Perhaps it’s racing thoughts interfering with your ability to feel accomplished, or maybe you’re in a place of constant overwhelm and wondering when you’ll find some peace. I use a whole-person approach—honoring both the mental and physical symptoms of anxiety (hello fidgeting hands and racing heart!) in support of whole-person wellness.

Depression Therapy

Maybe it feels impossible to complete work or school tasks without “forcing yourself” or you feel disconnected from your relationships with others and/or yourself. You might feel stuck and unable to connect with the motivation to move forward. We will create space for the challenges, learn tools, and work to reconnect with hope.

Parenthood/Pregnancy/Postpartum

The transition to parenthood is a major life alteration and can be difficult for a number of reasons. The counseling space can be healing for new and soon-to-be parents to heal from birth trauma, breastfeeding challenges, or explore the new values and challenges that come along with the new identity of becoming a parent.

Other Areas of Focus include:

Co-Occurring and Addiction Counseling
